Method and Device for Designing Classifier Using Binary Classifier

Disclosed are a device and a method for designing a classifier using a binary classifier. The disclosed device comprises: an input unit receiving a plurality of samples; a binary classifier designing unit designing the binary classifier for classifying the input samples into two classes (class 0, class 1) and sequentially connecting the designed binary classifiers according to the input samples and outputting the connected binary classifiers; and a determining unit, in the case that an error is included in the sample classified into the class 0 by the binary classifier, inputting the sample classified into the class 0 into the binary classifier designing unit and in the case that an error is included in the sample classified into the class, inputting the sample classified into the class 1 into the binary classifier designing unit. By the disclosed device and method, the calculation amount of the classification can be drastically reduced.
