The present invention relates to a system for automatically monitoring respiration and total photosynthesis of plants by using an opening/closing sensing operation of a closed circulation method applied chamber capable of improving reliability of monitoring by sensing sealing of the chamber and filtering carbon dioxide data obtained in a state of opening the chamber. The present invention relates to the system for automatically monitoring the respiration and the total photosynthesis of the plants by using the opening/closing sensing operation of the closed circulation method applied chamber comprising: an air collecting chamber; a carbon dioxide concentration measuring device; a controlling unit; and a sealing chamber. The air collecting chamber includes a chamber body which includes one or more opening units, and receives the plants, and a door which opens/closes the opening units of the chamber body; and forms a sealed space in an inside by being selectively installed in leaves, branches, and stems of the plants. The carbon dioxide concentration measuring device is connected to the air collecting chamber through an inlet tube and an outlet tube; measures a carbon dioxide concentration by receiving air of the air collecting chamber; and returns the air to the air collecting chamber again. The controlling unit stores the carbon dioxide concentration analyzed in the carbon dioxide concentration measuring device through a data logger; and controls the carbon dioxide concentration measuring device and the air collecting chamber. The sealing chamber senses sealing of the air collecting chamber. When the air collecting chamber is not sealed based on a sensing result of the sealing sensor, the controlling unit filters measured data of the carbon dioxide concentration; and treats only data of the carbon dioxide concentration measured in the state of sealing the air collecting chamber.
