The present invention relates to a system for recovering cold energy of LNG and a method for cooling an LNG carrier using the same and, more specifically, relates to a system for recovering cold energy of LNG and a method for cooling an LNG carrier using the same, wherein the system is configured to cool the interior by supplying cold energy generated when supplying LNG stored in a storage tank of an LNG carrier to an engine to a heat pump system. As stated above, the system for recovering cold energy of LNG and the method for cooling an LNG carrier using the same can reduce operating expenses of the LNG carrier, and further reduce waste of resources by cooling the interior with cold energy generated in a vaporizer of the LNG carrier.
