FIELD: agriculture.;SUBSTANCE: method of breeding larvae of parsnip moths Depressaria radiella includes raising them to the adult stages in the open ground. Sowing parsnip is preliminary prepared for invasion with larvae of parsnip moths in the form of sowing parsnip of different ages, grown at two sites - the site of parsnip of the first year of life 50×100 m² and the site of parsnip of the second year of life 5×10 m². The invasion is performed by transferring the larvae batch in an amount of 500 pieces from the site of the first year to the flowering parsnip plant of the sowing area of the second year at the rate of one larva per one plant. Then they are grown in the open ground to the adult stages for up to the next flowering of sowing parsnip. Then the process of growing larvae is carried by self-reproduction in sowing parsnip plants with its deliberate repeated planting in the same area.;EFFECT: invention provides a highly efficient, low-cost, highly economical method of growing larvae of parsnip moths Depressaria radiella by creating a cycle of reproduction of the object under the natural conditions.
