FIELD: ecology.;SUBSTANCE: to evaluate the environmental situation at chronical and accidental pollution of soil by heavy metals according to the dehydrogenase enzyme activity analysis, select the first typical section without the explicit source of heavy metals (№1) emissions and the second (№2) typical section with a clear source of priority heavy metals emissions in the soil . Then select the averaged soil samples №1 and №2 from these sections, respectively, and determine the dehydrogenase enzyme activity in them by spectrophotometric method. At the same time the chronical soil pollution by heavy metals is judged about by the increased activity of the enzyme in the sample №2 relatively to the sample №1. The accidental soils pollution by heavy metals is judged about by the reduced activity of the enzyme in the sample №2 relatively to the sample №1.;EFFECT: method makes possible to detect the fact of the chronical or accidental soils pollution by heavy metals , as well as to reduct the time, improve the accuracy and quality of the ecological situation evaluation at the territories of the industrial facilities operation.;1 dwg, 2 tbl, 1 ex
