FIELD: mining engineering.SUBSTANCE: invention is intended to provide contact of power points with casing column in multi-electode well probe of electrical logging through metallic column under conditions of considerable corrosion of the casing wall and the presence of cement, paraffins and resins thereon. According to the claimed proposal, the electrodes are individually exposed to impact of periodically accumulated potential energy of springs that is produced by screw pairs rotation and by abrupt (shock) release of energy when crests of the screw pairs leave helical interaction. The device for implementing the method is a drive structure having an output shaft that drives screw pairs. The screw pairs with direct rotation open the centraliaers and press elastically the power points to the casing wall, by means of periodic impact produce exposure to electrodes rigidly connected with the power points. At that, the power points penetrate into the casing wall. The shock impact occurs when the screw and the nut are untightened from the screw interaction that is pressed by a power spring. With the reverse rotation of the shaft, the helical interaction in the screw pairs is restored, the electrodes and centralisers return to their initial position, and then the helical crests again leave the screw interaction, but from the other ends.
