TUFT PICKER FOR A TUFT PICKING DEVICE OF A BRUSH MAKING MACHINE

A tuft picker for a tuft picking device suitable to be used in a brush making machine is provided, wherein a working surface of the tuft picker comprises at least a tuft picking notch with a depth, a width and an opening, wherein a first projection and a second projection reduce the opening of the tuft picking notch versus an inner width, wherein at least one top of the first and/or second projection is located off-site the working surface of the tuft picker and inside of the notch, wherein a distance from the at least one top to the working surface of the tuft picker is in the range of from 0.05mm to 0.5mm and wherein an angle between the working surface of the tuft picker and a line of reflection symmetry crossing the at least one top is in the range of from 1° to 45°.
