摘要

To enable appropriate detection of microorganisms belonging to the genera Plasmodiophora, Pythium and Phytophthora. The present invention is directed to a method for detecting microorganism which comprises collecting a sample from a plant tissue, soil, water or any other environment, extracting DNA from microorganisms contained in the sample, conducting PCR with the use of the extracted DNA, and determining the presence or absence of microorganisms in the sample on the basis of the obtained amplification product, wherein the PCR is conducted, for a β-tubulin gene in DNA of microorganisms belonging to the genera Plasmodiophora, Pythium and Phytophthora as PCR amplification targets, with the use of the extracted DNA and a primer set which consists of a forward primer comprising at least one of base sequences represented by SEQ ID NOS: 1-3 and a reverse primer comprising at least one of base sequences represented by SEQ ID NOS: 4 and 5, and then the presence or absence of these microorganisms in the sample is determined on the basis of the obtained amplification product.
