The invention relates to a process that permits the removal of fixed-pattern noise in effective images formed by arrangements of electromagnetic sensors of a light field, comprising at least the following steps: (a) forming a digital image based on an arrangement of electromagnetic sensors; (b) forming a light field, which should have at least 2 x 2 digital images of a scene, having a separation distance of at least the size of the effective area of an electromagnetic sensor; and (c) reconstructing an image by means of a digital refocusing based on the light field.
