A timbre determination unit 105 determines whether the plurality of selected timbres are: layer timbres capable of being set in a sound source part of a timbre setting device 1; layer timbres obtained by combination of timbres capable of being set in the sound source part and timbres capable of being set in an inner sound source of an electronic musical instrument; or layer timbres capable of being set in the inner sound source of the electronic musical instrument.
