PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flood countermeasure support system and method thereof capable of planning an appropriate flood countermeasure at a disaster such as heavy rainfall in a plant having a plurality of equipment buildings for housing equipment.SOLUTION: There are provided a rain water inflow amount calculation unit 7 which calculates amounts of rain water that inflow respective equipment buildings by using information on the amount of rain fall measured by an amount of rain fall measurement device 2 and facility information stored in a facility information database 6, an inundation time prediction unit 9 which calculates a time period until equipment is flooded for each equipment building by using the amount of rain water and the facility information, a priority determination unit 11 which determines the priority for taking a countermeasure for each equipment building on the basis of the inundation time, and a display unit 12 which displays the determination result of the priority.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
