PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a movement estimation technology of fishing netting in which error is more reduced to the real movement of the underwater fishing netting.;SOLUTION: A fishing netting movement estimation apparatus includes a data assimilation processing unit and an observation value acquisition unit. The data assimilation processing unit has a prior state estimated value calculation unit 111 and a state estimated value calculation unit 112. A position of a material point or velocity for configuring a calculation model being provided for numerical value simulation of the underwater movement of the fishing netting is input in the prior state estimated value calculation unit 111. The prior state estimated value calculation unit 111 calculates the position of the next time of the material point or the prior state estimated value of the velocity by using the material point or the velocity for configuring the calculation model being provided for the numerical value simulation of the underwater movement of the fishing netting and an underwater motion equation of the fishing netting. The observation value acquisition unit acquires an observation value of the net hem depth of the fishing netting, and calculates the state estimated value obtained by modifying the position of the material point or the velocity by the data assimilation processing using the observation value and the prior state estimated value in the state estimated value calculation unit 112.;SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1;COPYRIGHT: (C)2018,JPO&INPIT
