PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology related to rotary machine state monitoring for determining abnormality of a rotary machine with high reliability.SOLUTION: A rotary machine state monitoring system 100 comprises: a sensor head 2; a preamplifier 4; a body part 6; and a temperature sensor 23 that is provided in the preamplifier 4, measures an ambient temperature of a motor 1, and outputs an ambient temperature value. The sensor head 2 includes an acceleration sensor 11 that measures vibration of the motor and outputs a vibration value, and a temperature sensor 12 that measures a surface temperature of the motor 1 and outputs a rotary machine surface temperature value. The body part 6 includes a processing part 31 that compares the current vibration value with a determination threshold to determine the state of the motor 1, a display part 7 that displays the vibration value, rotary machine surface temperature value, and ambient temperature value, an output part 35 that outputs a result of determination performed by the processing part 31, and a communication part 33 that receives the determination threshold from a host system and transmits the current vibration value and result of determination to the host system.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
