PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the cost and lead time in designing a package intended for the protection and transportation of a product.SOLUTION: All of digital design steps for a package are integrated in a method for digitizing a product 1, which includes a step of laminating a virtual counter form 2 of the product effective to define geometrical data of each layer of the package to be cut.
