PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a more convenient and rapid assay technique and inhibitor evaluation method for measuring enzymatic activity of a lipid-soluble membrane binding protein in which the substrate and product are lipid soluble.;SOLUTION: A method for measuring the activity of an enzyme that is a membrane binding protein in which the substrate and/or product is lipid soluble comprises: a step of preparing a reaction solution by reacting an enzyme with a substrate in the presence of a surfactant such that the enzymatic reaction reduces the substrate and generates the product; a step of preparing a plurality of reaction solutions under differing reaction conditions; a step of transferring each of the plurality of prepared reaction solutions into an organic solvent; a step of measuring the substrate or product in the organic solvent by NMR; a step of analyzing data obtained by NMR; and a step of calculating the physical quantity related to the enzymatic reaction speed or the effect of the inhibitor.;SELECTED DRAWING: None;COPYRIGHT: (C)2018,JPO&INPIT
