PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medicine inventory managing method that does not likely to cause an expiration of a medicine availability period and a lack of medicines.;SOLUTION: A medicine inventory managing system according to the present invention includes prescription information acquiring means, set inventory number calculating means, inventory information updating means, and inventory status determining means. Attribute information is information indicating whether or not a medicine has an addictive property or a time period property. A repeat parameter is a parameter that is set when the attribute information indicates the addictive property, and is a parameter that indicates a rate at which the same patient purchases again the same medicine per a pharmacy. Sales number information is information indicating an average number of sales per a pharmacy when the attribute information indicates the absence of the time period property, and is information indicating the number of sales including a change in a year per a pharmacy when the attribute information indicates the time period property. The set inventory number calculating means acquires the lower limit of the set inventory number using prescription information, the repeat parameter, and the sales number information as for the medicine with the addictive property, and acquires the lower limit of the set inventory number using the sales number information as for the medicine without the addictive property.;SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1;COPYRIGHT: (C)2018,JPO&INPIT
