PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the number of inquiries drastically, by specifying the cause of a transmission error and presenting it to a user, thereby preventing such inconvenience that a user inquires an operator of an MFP every time when the transmission error occurs.SOLUTION: In communication between an acquisition unit of an image formation device and an information terminal via a router, the acquisition unit acquires information indicating an error type from the router, at the time of occurrence of a transmission error of transmission information. For each type of the transmission error, an analysis unit of the image formation device refers to an information storage unit storing analysis processing information for analyzing the cause of occurrence of the transmission error, and analyzing the cause of occurrence of the transmission error based on the analysis processing information corresponding to the information indicating an acquired type of the error. A display control unit of the image formation device controls a display to display an analysis result of the analysis unit. With such an arrangement, the cause of occurrence of the transmission error can be presented, in detail, to a user and thereby the number of inquiries to an operator can be reduced.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
