PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the elution of mercury from ash fly even when the fly ash has a large content of mercury by stably treating heavy metals contained in fly ash in a combustion exhaust gas even when the fly ash contains much active carbon.;SOLUTION: Treatment equipment has a filter 14 that collects fly ash contained in an exhaust gas of an exhaust gas passage 13 downstream of active carbon charging devices 26, 27 for treating mercury contained in the exhaust gas by charging with active carbon, a heating device 47 that heats fly ash exhausted out of the filter 14 to volatilize mercury contained in this fly ash, a recovery device 48 that recovers mercury volatilized by the heating device 47, and a heavy metal treatment facility 42 that charges fly ash exhausted out of the heating device 47 with a chelate agent to treat heavy metals in the fly ash by immobilization. The heavy metal treatment facility 42 increases the charging amount of the chelate agent for treating by immobilization of the fly ash generated when active carbon for treating mercury is charged in a large amount as compared with the case where the content of active carbon in the fly ash is smaller than the charging amount.;SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1;COPYRIGHT: (C)2018,JPO&INPIT
