PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that encapsulating a glass in handmade Japanese paper constitutes a limiting factor of designability since such beauty that the glass glitters by receiving light is damaged because a Japanese paper molded article only generates a shadow when using as a lamp shade although a Japanese paper molded article obtained by encapsulating a natural object in Japanese paper so as to pinch not only a planar natural object but also a stereo natural object from both sides, and a manufacturing method thereof are heretofore disclosed.;SOLUTION: The Japanese paper molded article in which Japanese paper partially completely does not appear on the surface since a method for supporting a heavy object such as glass includes contacting glass with Japanese paper by at least one side without encapsulating glass in handmade Japanese paper is constituted by: integrating Japanese paper composed of gampi fibers and glass by reservoir filtering, waterproof-finishing by arum root powder, and thereafter molding and solidifying.;SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2;COPYRIGHT: (C)2018,JPO&INPIT
