PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a base cloth for a hollow weave airbag and a method for manufacturing a hollow weave airbag by use of the base cloth.;SOLUTION: A base cloth for a hollow weave airbag comprising a hollow weave structure which becomes an expansion developing part, and a weave structure which becomes a closed part provided adjacent to a circumference of the hollow weave structure, in which a thermal shrinkage of a first warp, which is used for a closed part which is positioned in an ejection direction of a gas supplied from an inflator and a portion 21 approximate to the closed part, is larger than a thermal shrinkage of a second warp which is used for a closed part at the other position and the expansion developing part 22. Further, the closed part at the other position and the expansion developing part 22 comprise a closed part which is positioned in the ejection direction of the gas supplied from the inflator and an intermediate part adjacent to the portion proximate to the closed part, and a thermal shrinkage of a third warp used for the intermediate part is smaller than that of the first warp and is larger than that of the second warp. In addition, these base cloths are heated and thermally shrunk, and a hollow weave airbag 10 having a prescribed shape is cut out from the base cloth after heating.;SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1;COPYRIGHT: (C)2018,JPO&INPIT
