PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an agent for treating cyan-containing wastewater, which can remove cyan in wastewater safely with simple operation, with a smaller amount of addition of agents than ever before, for wastewater containing cyan, particularly cyan-containing wastewater in which coexistent compounds such as thiocyanate ions and ammonium ions are present; and to provide a method for treating cyan-containing wastewater using the same.;SOLUTION: This invention relates to an agent for treating cyan-containing wastewater, comprising: a combination of two liquids, an N-chlorosulfamate- and/or N-bromosulfamate-containing aqueous solution, and a hydrogen peroxide- or metal compound-containing aqueous solution; or a combination of three liquids, the N-chlorosulfamate- and/or N-bromosulfamate-containing aqueous solution, the hydrogen peroxide-containing aqueous solution, and a metal compound-containing aqueous solution.;SELECTED DRAWING: None;COPYRIGHT: (C)2018,JPO&INPIT
