PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cover mechanism for a content discharging product that moves container main body portions and an operation portion in a vertical direction by relative turning operation of an upper protecting cover and a lower protecting cover and selects storage/exposure states of the operation portion, which secures settings of an upper position where the operation portion is exposed and a lower position where the operation portion is stored.SOLUTION: For example, when an upper protecting cover 7 is fastened and a lower protecting cover 6 is turned, protruding guided portions 8c of container main body portions 1 and 2 follow cam groove-like portions 6a of the lower protecting cover 6 so that the container main body portions move up and down. The cam groove-like portions 6a comprise: inclined groove-like portions 6d for moving vertically a holding/moving member 8; lower lateral groove-like portions 6b that are formed continuously in respective outer peripheral directions from both ends of the inclined groove-like portions and do not move in a vertical direction of the holding/moving member 8; and upper lateral groove-like portions 6c. Further an engagement action of vertical groove-like portions 7a of the upper protecting cover 7 and vertical rib-like portions 8d of the holding/moving member 8 inhibits turning of the holding/moving member.
