VENTILATION STRUCTURE FOR FUSUMA INDOOR SLIDING DOOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ventilation structure between a front surface side and a rear surface side of a fusuma indoor sliding door that does not distract a traditional Japanese room view.SOLUTION: A spacer member 28 is provided between a fitting body 18 and an edge member 20 constituting a fusuma indoor sliding door 12, for forming a ventilation channel 30 between the fitting body 18 and the edge member 20 for ventilating between a front surface 18A side and a rear surface 18C side of the fitting body 18. Furthermore, the ventilation channel 30 and the spacer member 28 for forming the ventilation channel 30 are not exposed on a designed side of the fusuma indoor sliding screen 12. The configuration prevents distraction to a view in a Japanese room 14, even when the fusuma indoor sliding door 12 is provided with the ventilation channel 30.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
