PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve joining strength between a resin and an interpenetrating layer in a structure in which the interpenetrating layer is formed by penetration of the resin into cavities of a porous layer, and a metal and the resin are joined via the interpenetrating layer.SOLUTION: In producing a porous layer, porosity of the side to be in contact with a metal is set to be relatively low and porosity of the side from which a resin penetrates into the layer is set to be relatively high, by increasing the volume fraction of NaCl powder, determining the porosity, from the side to be in contact with the metal to the side from which the resin penetrates into the layer (for instance, gradually changing the volume fraction from 50% to 80%). At the boundary between the resin and the interpenetrating layer, the resin area ratio of a surface from which the resin penetrates into the interpenetrating layer to the entire boundary surface gets relatively large and stress generated inside the resin is reduced. As a result, fracture is hardly produced at the boundary between the resin and the interpenetrating layer, and joining strength between the resin and the interpenetrating layer is improved.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 17
