PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide, for a method for preparing a diphenyl carbonate by de-carbonylation reaction of diphenyl oxalate in the presence of catalyst, a method capable of stably and continuously producing a high purity diphenyl carbonate in a simple manner and with a good efficiency.SOLUTION: Provided is a method for preparing a diphenyl carbonate by de-carbonylation reaction of diphenyl oxalate within a reactor under the presence of a catalyst, and in which, characterized, the catalyst is fed to the reactor in a dissolved state in the diphenyl carbonate.SELECTED DRAWING: None
