PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new power conversion device capable of detecting a frequency component different from a fundamental wave of a system voltage out of the frequency component of the system voltage, and also to provide a power generation system, a non-fundamental wave component detection device and a non-fundamental wave component detection method.SOLUTION: A power conversion device includes: a voltage detection part; a conversion part; and a non-fundamental wave component detection part. The voltage detection part detects an AC voltage in a power system. In the conversion part, the AC voltage detected by the voltage detection part is converted into a component of a rotating coordinate system which is rotated in frequency different from the fundamental wave of the AC voltage of the power system. The non-fundamental wave component detection part detects the component of the frequency different from the fundamental wave of the AC voltage based on the component converted by the conversion part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
