PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a long body delivery device which holds a long body to a desired region in a state where a predetermined amount of the long body is pulled out while reducing scratches, position deviation, wrinkles, and folding etc. in the long body.SOLUTION: A long body delivery device 10 of the invention includes: stress application means 20 which applies stress for pulling a long body 90 to one side; moving means 30 which moves to a position of receiving means 40 and delivers the long body 90 to the receiving means 40; the receiving means 40 which receives the long body 90 from the moving means 30 and holds the long body 90; holding means 50 which is disposed at one side of the receiving means 40 and holds the long body 90 on the basis of control of holding control means 60; and the holding control means 60 which causes the holding means 50 to sequentially hold the long body 90 from the other side to the one side.
