PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small-sized and low-cost stepper motor capable of rotating two rotors independently in either a positive direction and an opposite direction at high speed, a stepper motor drive control method, a watch movement including the stepper motor, and a watch.SOLUTION: A stepper motor comprises: a first coil 37 which is excited for driving a first rotor 60 provided about a first axis C1 freely rotatably; a second coil 47 which is excited for driving a second rotor 70 provided about a second axis C2 freely rotatably; and a common coil 57 which is excited together with at least one of the first coil 37 and the second coil 47, for driving at least one of the first rotor 60 and the second rotor 70 by two-phase excitation.
