PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently and appropriately draw up a work plan pertaining to software development.SOLUTION: When drawing up a work plan in software development, a work plan drafting assistance device 10 determines the subset of work by solving a combinatorial optimization problem where the competitive relationship between a plurality of work in software development is a constraint condition and the effect of work groups obtained by combining the plurality of work is an object function. More specifically, the work plan drafting assistance device 10 determines, by solving the combinatorial optimization problem, that a work group in which the object function is at maximum or which exceeds a prescribed threshold is the subset of work. The object function is, for example, a function for calculating the sum total of expected values of work that are indices representing the effect for each work constituting the work group.
