PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vestibular function evaluation device capable of noninvasively evaluating the vestibular function of a non-human animal, and a method of evaluating the vestibular function of a non-human animal.SOLUTION: A vestibular function evaluation device includes a fixture tool 11 to be fixed on a head of an animal. The fixing tool 11 is externally moved to shift a head position of the animal, and short latency vestibular evoked potential of the animal is measured while the head position is being shifted. A record of the measurement of the short latency vestibular evoked potential is then subjected to vestibular function evaluation processing.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
