PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light control apparatus capable of combination with external light which is changed as natural light and photomorphogenesis suitable for a plant growth condition.SOLUTION: A light control apparatus 1 for plant growth which promotes plant growth by irradiating a plant with light comprises: a light detection part 11 for detecting spectral radiation intensity of light with which the plant irradiates; a control part 13 for storing a light control model previously prepared according to the plant, and obtaining spectral radiation intensity of shortage from a calculation result of the spectral radiation intensity detected by the light detection part and the light control model; and a light supplement part 12 for supplying light to the spectral radiation intensity of shortage on the basis of a command signal from the control part 13. The light detection part 11 detects spectral radiation intensity of light supplied by the light supplement part 12, and the detection result is fed back to the control part 13.
