PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for making it possible to observe a specific weather phenomenon that occurs suddenly and accompanies a strong wind.SOLUTION: A specific weather phenomenon observation system according to the present invention includes: a plurality of weather meters disposed at prescribe intervals and capable of measuring the temperature and/or the atmospheric pressure; a data collection unit for collecting the data measured by the plurality of weather meters in association with information regarding places at which the weather meters from which each of the measurement data is acquired are installed; and a determination unit which, when there is specific place of observation at which the measurement data of the temperature and/or the atmospheric pressure changes relatively to the measurement data at surrounding places of observation at a rate greater than or equal to a prescribed change rate, determines, on the basis of the measurement data collected by the data collection unit, that a specific weather phenomenon that occurs suddenly and accompanies a strong wind has occurred in a place near the specific place of observation.
