PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide Ophiocordyceps sinensis fruit bodies with a high quality and to provide functional foods containing the same.SOLUTION: An artificial cultivation method of Ophiocordyceps sinensis fruit bodies comprises providing a culture medium using a silk thread fibroin membrane as a host substitute, in which a culture solution is put so as to some of the membrane is exposed to the air; inoculating a portion of the silk fibroin membrane exposed in the air of the medium with Cordyceps sinensis inoculum; and culturing the Ophiocordyceps sinensis inoculum to allow Ophiocordyceps sinensis fruit bodies to be formed.SELECTED DRAWING: None
