PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a Scott connection transformer whose dimension in the width direction of the whole iron core is reduced and space saving is achieved.SOLUTION: An iron core used for a Scott connection transformer includes: a main seat leg iron core 41 and a T seat leg iron core 42 around which an induction coil 11 having Scott connection is wound; a common leg iron core 43 which serves as a common magnetic flux path for magnetic flux generated in the main seat leg iron core 41 and the T seat leg iron core 42; and a yoke 44 which connects both upper and lower parts of the main seat leg iron core 41, the T seat leg iron core 42, and the common leg iron core 43. The main seat leg iron core 41, the T seat leg iron core 42, and the common leg iron core 43 are arranged so that each of them is positioned at the apex of a triangle in a plan view, and the yoke 44 is bent with the common leg iron core 43 as a bending point in the plan view.
