The present invention describes pharmaceutical compositions comprising the compound achyrobichalcona.In one implementation, the pharmaceutical composition comprises from 0.1% up to 90% by weight of achyrobichalcona.In another implementation, the present invention could be used in the treatment of cancer, such as lung cancer and melanoma, and the compounds associated or not with other therapeutic compounds.The present invention is situated in the fields of pharmacy and biochemistry.
