The isolator based on a compact two-dimensional photonic crystal with square network for operation in systems of sub terahertz.The present invention is a compact isolator which promotes the control over the flow of an electromagnetic signal in circuits with frequency of operation in the sub terahertz.It is based on a two-dimensional photonic crystal composed of dielectric cylinders arranged periodically in a square grid.The device allows an electromagnetic signal propagation, with low insertion losses, the entrance to the exit door (direct sense).While blocking the signal parasite that comes from the exit door (reverse).The flow control is done through a resonant cavity located in the region of the junction.In particular, the cylinder magnetized ferrite.
