Provided are an online payment method and device relating to the technical field of networks. The method comprises: setting a second system account having a secure payment environment all applications installed and run under the second system account being applications passing security authentication; entering the second system account and performing a payment operation under the second system account. In the present invention online payment on a current terminal needs to be implemented in a system managed by the second system account. Because all applications installed and run under the second system account are applications passing security authentication and therefore user information can be prevented from being stolen by other applications during online payment thereby preventing financial loss of a user.
