A METHOD FOR VEHICLE MONITORING SYSTEM USING RADIO FREQUENCY IDENTIFICATION (RFID) BASED DATA ACQUISITION SYSTEM

A method for vehicle monitoring system using Radio Frequency Identification Device (RFID) based data acquisition system. There are three components for the RFID based vehicle monitoring system, first RFID tag mounted on vehicle, second RFID reader placed at key points and third local computing system interconnected to centralised server. The RFID receiver with computing device is placed on the various key points to gather the identification information from the vehicles. This information carries the identity of vehicles and its locations at various key points. Multiple receiver with computing devices are placed at various key points on the path forwards the information to centralised information server. The server provides the log information of the vehicles, useful to track the vehicle location.
