The present disclosure is related to a device and the application method of the same with a different operating logic than the current ones, allowing optimal control, by electric and/or electronic means, the operation of a storage water heater, fast recovery of any other gas water heating appliance, reducing the operation cost by eliminating the unnecessary energy consumption caused by the heat loss, turning on the ignition system only when necessary, taking into account different measured variables and information provided by the user, directly or indirectly, according to his consumption habits, maximizing user comfort and reducing the emission of polluting gases into the environment through three main procedures (bathroom mode, auto-learning mode and auto-programming mode).
