The invention relates to a vegetal antioxidant product to be used in cosmetics, food industry and pharmaceutical industry and to a process for preparing the same. According to the invention, the product has a total polyphenol content of 10.86...11.96% expressed as gallic acid equivalent, a flavonoid content of 4.23...5.43% expressed as rutin equivalent, polyphenol carboxylic acid content of 12.26...14.46% expressed as caffeic acid and hydroxycinnamic derivative content of 4.12...4.86% expressed as rosmarinic acid. The process, as claimed by the invention, consists in combining three selective active fractions of the species Rosmarinus officinalis, as powder, obtained from the process of ultrasonication for 20...60 min, at a temperature of 20...60°C, followed by extraction using as a solvent ethyl alcohol, demineralized acidulated water and supercritical fluids, respectively, and subsequent processing , to result in a product which has an antioxidant activity of 96.78...98.84%.
