The bakery product pastry and biscuits from carrot, consists of a filling which is enveloped by a dough, the filling comprising at least 5% by weight of the jam or at least 5% by weight of the poppy or at least 5% by weight of the nuts or at least 5% by weight of the pear or at least 5% by weight % of the other fruit or a mixture thereof in an amount of at least 5% by weight, and the dough comprises 3 to 70% by weight of fragmented carrot, 3 to 80% by weight of flour, and at least 5% by weight of fat. The product is cylindrically shaped, and also the filling is cylindrical and is wrapped with dough only on the surface of the cylindrical surface of the filling.
