An oral pharmaceutical composition in a tablet, coated tablet, capsule or powder form for preventing or treating bowel disorders such as the irritable bowel syndrome, also known as spastic colon syndrome, which is based on an intestinal motility modifier, an agent for preventing the retention of gases, digestive enzymes in a binding agent, a diluting agent, an adsorbent agent, a lubricating agent, a slip agent and a disintegrating or suspensor agent, this formula being effective for normalizing the intestinal transit in order to obtain an analgesic and antispasmodic activity and reduce the symptoms related to the intestinal gas such as distension, abdominal pain and flatulence.
