The present invention relates in general to graphene/fluorine-doped tin oxide electrodes for dye-sensitized solar cells (DSSC). More specifically, the present invention relates to a novel transparent conducting electrode (TCE) made of a composite of fluorine-doped tin oxide and graphene, and having a higher conductivity and better transparency compared to TCEs made of fluorine-doped tin oxide or pure exfoliated graphene. According to the present invention, graphene added to the composite comes from liquid-phase exfoliation of graphene in alcohol solution.
