An aspect of the utility model is directed to a computer-implemented method in an electronic computer network system configured to serve, in a service-oriented architecture infrastructure, to first, second and third client devices communicating with the network system over a data communication channel digital content related to a real-world sporting activity such as basketball, football, soccer, volleyball, boxing, hockey, and the like. The method may include setting to be executable, by a processing server computing device, from a memory device coupled to the processing server computing device sports activity organizer-facing, sports player-facing and sports manager-facing components, effectively causing the sports activity organizer-facing, sports player-facing, and sports manager-facing components to be implemented, respectively, by the first, second and third client devices, and further causing portions of the served digital content to be presented on user interfaces of the first, second and third client devices, over the communication channel. The sports activity organizer-facing, sports player-facing and sports manager-facing components are electronic platforms which, independently of one another, are configurable using the processing server computing device and operable, respectively, using the first, second and third client devices.
