A system and a method for translating words in a robot program written in a human language to another human language

The present invention relates to a method and a system (1) capable of translating words in a robot program written in a certain human language to another human language, wherein the robot system comprises a data storage (5) for storing one or more tables including translations of words from the programming language to one or more viewing languages, and a robot program editor configured to read the tables and to translate the words in at least a part of the robot program into the viewing language based on said one or more tables, and to display the translation of the robot program upon receiving instructions to view at least a part of the robot program. The invention makes it possible to choose another human language than the programming language as viewing language. The robot program can be translated on the fly to the selected viewing language.(Figure 1)
