The present invention relates to electric power engineering and to core-structure electric power engineering compo- nents, such as transformers and reactors, and especially to a busbar for a core-structure electric power engineering component with foil type windings and to a core-structure electric power engineering component with foil type wind- ings. A busbar (15), (46-48), (51), (58), (75-77) according to the present invention comprises at least two separate solid busbar layers (16-19) having stepwise different lengths and being stacked so that the said busbar (15), (46-48), (51), (58), (75-77) has an evenly stacked first end and a stepwise stacked second end with the said at least two separate solid busbar layers (16-19) stacked in the order of length, electrical insulation layers (21-23) ar- ranged between the said at least two separate solid bus- bar layers (16-19), and connecting areas (24-26), (52-57), (59-64) arranged on the said at least two separate solid busbar layers (16-19), the said at least two separate solid busbar layers (16-19) being connected together from the said connecting areas (24-26), (52-57), (59-64).
