The multi-function instrument can ensure that an upper-layer control system (200) collects, in each scanning period, the maximum current appearing in a low-voltage power distribution loop, so as to facilitate the upper-layer control system (200) in issuing a corresponding control command, thereby ensuring the secure and reliable operation of the power distribution system.
