The purpose of the present invention is, without putting a measurement subject into a resting state for measuring, to acquire a state value which relates to a physical state of the measurement subject. Provided is a mind/body state measurement device (1000), comprising a situation assessment unit (20) and a state value computation unit (30). On the basis of sensor information which relates to a measurement subject, the situation assessment unit (20) assesses at each instance of a first prescribed time whether a specified rest situation applies. The specified rest situation is either a rest situation or a quasi-rest situation. The rest situation is a situation in which the mind and body of the measurement subject are at rest. The quasi-rest situation is a situation which is similar to the rest situation. The state value computation unit (30) computes and outputs a state value which relates to the physical state of the measurement subject on the basis of sensor information, from among the sensor information, which corresponds to a time at which it has been determined by the situation assessment unit (20) that the specified rest situation applies.
