A method and system for classifying and comparing an application in big data. The method comprises the following steps: capturing, from big data, data of various classifications; comparing the data of various classifications; and performing statistics on a comparison result to acquire the accuracy of the classifications. The technical solution provided in the present invention has the advantage of a high accuracy.
