The invention relates to a binary static mixer having a preferably rectangular but also round cross-section, for adhesives. A distance (A) of at least half a millimeter is provided between a collar (1) having two tubes (3, 4) and adjoining bores (5, 6), and an inner mixer (11) having two side plates (7, 8) and various mixing chambers (9, 10) on two levels (19, 20), wherein both parts - the collar (1) and the inner mixer (11) - are interconnected by a thin bridge (12), a spring (13), a shaft (14) or a helical element (14, 16) made of plastic, and can be produced as a single piece. On the outside is a metering sheath (30) with a bayonet sheath (31) or a threaded sheath (34) formed thereon.
